placeholder.png

Planning a 9 day hike along the West Highland Way is quite an adventure. In order to help you prepare I’ve written a 9 Day Itinerary for the route if you are planning to hike it in sections or as a long epic journey.

The accommodation on this page have been hand picked, and checked on Facebook, TripAdvisor, and via Google Reviews to ensure they are of an acceptable quality. Most can be booked direct, online either via booking.com, or through their own website.

If you have any questions please don’t hesitate to email us at matt@bookmytrail.com

Please note, some of the accommodation options below include an affiliate link. If you book through these links DistanceHiker will receive a small percentage of the total price. This allows us to keep producing excellent resources to help you book your trail. Thanks, Matthew.

Planning to do WHW in a couple of years, hopefully, coming from Australia. Want to continue walk through to Inverness as well. Looks great what you have done.

Do let me know how you get on if you walk the WHW. So you would be following the Great Glen Way which runs from Fort William to Inverness.
